Biography
Dr. Mark Finlay received his B.A. in History from Grinnell College and his M.A. and Ph.D. in the History of Science and Technology Program from Iowa State University. His book Growing American Rubber: Strategic Plants and the Politics of National Security will be published in 2009 by Rutgers University Press. He is also engaged with several other projects in environmental history and the history of American agriculture. He serves on the Editorial Board for Agricultural History, the Scientific Advisory Board for the Zeitschrift für Agrargeschichte, the Board of Directors of the Society for Industrial Archeology, and the Kranzberg Committee of the Society for the History of Technology.
